A letter from A Pathway to Hope Animal Rescue-
I don’t know if Amy told you folks--- but Jan got adopted!!!! She moved on 4/17.
She will be loved and spoiled silly the rest of her life.
They saw the picture of her in her foster home with a toddler (laying down on the lawn) on petfinder and had to meet her.
They came to our Easter bunny pictures event- in early April ( Sat. 4/2)-
At one point on 4/2, I scooped her up off the floor to cradle her in my arms- just to show how she relaxes and cuddles. I handed her over to Jim—and he felt her relax and she put her head on his arm and closed her eyes and he was in love. Jan felt the connection with him too.
They passed thru our screening process and everyone gave them positive reviews.
On the home visit, Jan had such a good time, I think she was sulking when we left to go to my house. And she was pretty pouty the next day too.
Her new name is Angel.
They have another dog about Jan’s size- her name is Baby--they get along, do everything together--like bookends.
And the couple is in the process of adopting a human child too!
Angel will have weekend trips to the shore
And 2 to 3 miles of walks a day – because Sue works at home- she won’t spend too much time without human companionship.
She has so much love in her heart and now a family to give it too.
Thank you for sending her here—they were waiting for HER.
I believe there is a lid for every pot- and our Angel Jan definitely found hers.
