MAGGIE, LITTLE SPECIAL NEEDS PITTIE, GETS HER NEW "LEGS"

Several months ago, Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue pulled Maggie from our local high kill shelter. She was placed in a local foster home where she was evaluated by a local vet. A wonderful permanent home was found for Maggie; additional evaluations were done and below is an update of Maggie's current situation.

Maggie was seen by three vets, one who was a orthopaedic specialist for dogs and after many x-rays and consultations it was determined that amputation was not the best trreatment plan for her. A special stroller was ordered for her. And then, Maggie was in A fenced in backyard and was bitten by a poisonous snake and rushed to the vet again..She will be okay. Has to wear her e-collar to keep her from chewing on snake bite. She is in a loving home with 3 other dogs, two of which are special needs dogs too. One is a deaf boxer and other is a tri-pod dog..She is doing great with all of them and her new loving parents.

Thanks to everyone for caring and helping so much to allow her to have the life she deserves.
